MFX Holding, through its subsidiary Haselt SA, has acquired 42.5% of GCDI, one of Argentina's most important construction companies with over 80 years of market experience. The company is listed on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange and has executed more than 500 projects. MFX's entry into GCDI occurs amid the holding's ongoing expansion and diversification, with a strong presence in the experiences and training sector through Fénix Entertainment, which produces live shows, amusement parks, and football clubs in both South America and Europe. Through GCDI, MFX enters the construction and real estate development industry, complementing its growth in Argentina in the media sector with Alpha Media Group and in the food sector with Delicias Argentinas. An example of GCDI's work is the new 50,000 m² Terminal B at Ministro Pistarini International Airport. According to the announcement accessed by the Argentine News Agency (NA), the entry of MFX Holding into GCDI will provide a boost to regain its prominence in the private, civil, industrial, and infrastructure segments. MFX stated that the decision to invest in GCDI is based on the growth opportunity the construction company has in Argentina and the region, where the group has a strong presence through its various business units. "GCDI is a prestigious brand with a history of landmark projects in the country and an experienced human capital that made it an industry leader, and we trust that it will position it again as a key player in real estate and major infrastructure works," they said from MFX. Recently, GCDI completed the expansion and modernization of the Monumental stadium of River Plate and is currently executing the works for the Sheraton and Plaza hotels, among others. MFX Holding, led by Argentine entrepreneur Marcelo Figoli, has a strong presence in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, the United States, and Spain. Its extensive track record in media, outdoor advertising, entertainment, and mass consumption is structured into three corporate groups: Alpha Media, Fenix Entertainment, and Delicias Argentinas.
